As I promised my new design Klara went live yesterday. To celebrate you will get a 15% discount on all of my self-published patterns until August 20th, 2015 23:59 (German time).
Klara is a flirty summer top with ruffled sleeves and v-neck shaping in the front and back. The pattern includes instructions for a seamless version and a seamed version. The seamless version is worked in the round from the bottom up, then front and back are separated at the armholes. The seamed version is worked in pieces, from the bottom up. The waist shaping is moved to the center of back and front for a flattering fit. The shoulder stitches are placed on hold and are joined using three-needle bind off. The short sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armhole and the sleeve caps as well as the shoulders are shaped using German short rows. This technique is explained in written and with the help of a photo tutorial.
If you decide to work the seamless version you don’t have to sew any seams at all. If you decide to work the seamed version you only have to sew the side seams.
